Eurotronic Spirit discovered as 2 different types?

I just switched to the new Gen5 stick and started with inclusion of the new Spirit ZW+ thermostats. The first 2 devives were recognized as 'General Thermostat (v2)' but the 3rd device was synced as ‚Thermostat - Thermostat (Spirit)‘ although all 3 devices are listed with firmware 0.15 in Indigo.

The one listed as Spirit has this returned: node 004, manufacturerId 0148, productId 00030001
and the other two this: node 003, manufacturerId 0148, productId 00030003

Are these different models although they look exactly the same? Node 4 has an additional Valve listed after syncing where I can change the Brightness(???) but this setting doesn’t do anything when changed as far as I can tell.

Anyone already using the Spirit thermostat has the same issue?

Re: Eurotronic Spirit discovered as 2 different types?

It looks like 00030003 is a revised firmware version and will need to be updated in Indigo so that it recognises it as a Spirit.

Because Indigo recognises the 00030001 model as a Spirit, it adds in the valve control.

Referring to the manual, the Spirit can operate in a number of different modes. Indigo doesn't have full support for all of these yet but it can be achieved using raw commands.
Whilst the valve position will be reported by the Sprit (after a delay in my experience), the Spirit has to be put in manufacture mode for the valve control to become active. Then the slider will open and close the valve. :)

I've added 00030003 to use a device definition that will work like the other Spirit (show the valve control as a brightness slider) to the next bug fix release of Indigo.

Indigo 7.2.0 is now available for download and includes the UI change.
