[SOLVED] Aeon Panic Button

Bought one of these although it is not in the supported list, hoped it would work as the Aeon key fob is supported, syncs ok but does not show up in the 'edit event settings' drop down menu.

Any chance of getting this to work? bought it for my elderly Mother and I told her that you are such nice Guys

Thanks

Colin

Re: Aeon Panic Button

Hi Colin

We have added support for that device. You should be able to create new Triggers of type Z-Wave Event that catch the button press. Does that work?

Re: Aeon Panic Button

I tried to make a trigger with a Z-wave event but the panic button does not show up in the Z-wave command drop down box

Re: Aeon Panic Button

Open the device settings dialog, press the button to write the device profile to the Event Log, then copy/paste the results into a post for me. You probably have a version of that module that has a different model ID than the one we added.

Re: Aeon Panic Button

It doesn't look like that model sync'd fully. Try re-syncing it, and copy/paste the Event Log showing the results. Be sure and follow the steps outlined here to keep it awake during the sync.

If that doesn't work, then exclude it from the Z-Stick and try starting over (re-including it and re-defining/syncing it in Indigo).
