Re: Heltun Zwave module

Or I suppose the alternative would be to just move the border down to Newcastle.. I mean that is where it used to be anyway..

Heltun Zwave module

I dunno, I’ve heard that it’s gonna be the best wall ever but I’m yet to see it actually being built... plus the person who kept saying it told everyone at a university speech to go over walls.. go around them....

Re: Heltun Zwave module

I’m also wondering.. can we use one of these relays to automate the gates on our new wall?

No point, you'll never want to open the gates anyway.

It wouldn’t feel right if it weren’t automated... I’ll also need a HomeKit compatible doorbell

Re: Heltun Zwave module

Oh I’m so gonna do that when we build the wall.

Actually wouldn’t it be awesome if someone made a doorbell with AI that used sound snippets from that?

You can do that now. Doorbell to some I/O device, I/O device to indigo, indigo plays the snippet. Space while, maybe I have an afternoon project.

I must say that I am completely offended.

My mother was a hamster and my father smelt of elderberry.

Only thing is, I see the same 5 devices I already know about. OTOH, maybe these are new and I just never saw the old ones.

Re: Heltun Zwave module

Yeah I just got that email myself. When I read it at first I thought they meant 5 in addition to what was on their website. Oh well!

I’d love to see them do a double gang wall switch. Almost all switches in my house are double gang so replacing them with single gang would be a PITA.

Re: Heltun Zwave module

I reckon with the heavy marketing (sponsored ads) on FB at the moment, the ones on website are new. Not many of them have PDF documentation with them yet.
