Fibaro Walli Outlet type E support (FGWOE-011)

Hi,

When adding an 'Walli Outlet type E' (Fibaro type FGWOE-011) to Indigo, it looks like it is incorrectly recognized as a 'Fibaro System - 010F, Walli Double Switch (FGWDSEU221) - 1F011000', so it is not fully functioning, especially the energy and power updates on power change. (advanced z-wave parameters verified)
Switching and requesting power/energy updates, manually or via a schedule, do work.

How could this be fixed? Can I add these outlets again in some way, selecting another type?
Although this specific device type is not listed as supported, probably because it quite recent Fibaro addition...

Thanks for any advise. :D

You cannot manually select a device definition in Indigo.

Can you re-sync it and copy/paste the Event Log window results into a reply for me so I can see exactly what it is reporting?

Re: Fibaro Walli Outlet type E support (FGWOE-011)

Unfortunately, Fibaro re-used the same model ID for both modules.

That said, I think the reason the energy reports may not be working is because you included it with encryption enabled. Try excluding it and re-including it without encryption, then re-sync it. Does energy reporting and requests then work? We recommend only using encryption for modules where it is essential (door locks, motion sensors, garage controllers), as the additional encryption functionality greatly increases complexity and the number of commands required to communicate with the module.

Re: Fibaro Walli Outlet type E support (FGWOE-011)

Matt, thanks for this tip!

Some time ago I changed/re-added these, unencrypted and behaviour is much better now.
Still testing some settings to get faster updates, comparable to Fibaro FGWP101 plug-type switches though.

Anyway, these nice in-wall type outlets look much better than plug-type switches...
