Devolo Humidity Sensor

Hi,

it seems to me the Philio Humitity Sensor PAT02-B is identical to the Devolo Humitity and Temperatur sensor.
Has anyone tried the devolo? I was hoping Indigo supported it but you'll never know.

As the Philio is more difficult to get here in Germany than the devolo I think I'd ask you guys.

I'm not seeing user reports for the Devolo version but that may be because they are filed under the Philio version. If it uses identical firmware (same configuration parameters, etc.), then it should work in Indigo (we might still have to duplicate the device definition but that can make it into a bug-fix release). You might want to compare the PDF manuals to see if they really are identical. Sometimes in cases like this the hardware is the same but they modify the firmware with different functionality / features.

Is the module awake when you try to change (or read) that parameter? The manual might have steps for how to wake it. Often times pressing the button on it will wake it for a few seconds, although some modules require a particular number of button taps.

The other error is coming from the Virtual Energy Meter plugin. You probably have a virtual device defined that includes a device that you no longer have in your Indigo database. You might have to recreate that virtual device or remove the missing device.

Thx, ehrt will be a hard job to find the "missing" device". IS there a way th get the list fitted to the window to make work much easier (see attached screenshot)?

Try opening a copy (make a copy to be safe) of the Indigo database file, then open it in a raw text editor and search for the ID number 201568232. That might give you some context where to look. You can copy/paste the XML lines before and after that (a few dozen in either direction) into a reply and we can help, or you can email us your database file.

Disable the Z-Wave Watcher plugin, then enable Indigo's built-in Z-Wave debug logging checkbox via the Interfaces->Z-Wave->Configure... menu item.

Next, use that Modify Configuration Parameter dialog to read parameter 10 (via Read Current Value button), then try to write/send a new value.

Lastly, copy/paste the Event Log window results of all the above into a reply for me. Also re-sync the module and copy/paste the results of that into a reply for me.

I'm not sure what is going on with the error on the device ID 201568232 being missing. Are you still seeing that error? That is a device in your database named Verbrauch komplett Wohnzimmer, so it should be found. Do you consistently get that error? Is that device enabled?

In regards to the missing device I can assure that the device Verbrauch komplett Wohnzimmer ist enabled.

The other thing I will try next hours.

Command back: The device I saw is named "Verbrauch Wohnzimmer komplett" and has the device ID 1521006876. The device named Verbrauch komplett Wohnzimmer does not exist.

It' s still the same in regards of reading the parameter ist very hard to get. I need at least 5 - 7 tries to see int in the l,ogfile but it is not seen in the "Modify Configuration Parameter …" window.

The change of parameters is as hard as to read the parameters. But at least it's working …

Device Verbrauch komplett Wohnzimmer exists in the database you emailed me. It is inside the folder Wohnzimmer. The device you have in your database, Verbrauch Wohnzimmer komplett, is not in the one I received via email.

You didn't turn on Indigo's Z-Wave debug logging and you didn't include a log of a re-sync of the device.
