Incorrect Device Classification?

I'm using a GE Smart Motion Switch (26931) and Indigo seems to think it is a Dimmer. According to the docs, it is on/off only. It's not a major issue, but there are some built-in functions that attempt to "set brightness to 0" rather than "turn switch off."

Is there a way to force the device to behave like a simple switch rather than a dimmer?

Thanks!

Re: Incorrect Device Classification?

Looks like this module was sharing a device definition with the dimmer version. I'll get it broken out into its own definition that is a relay in the next release of Indigo. You'll need to re-sync it once we release it and it'll then change the device to an on/off relay.

Re: Incorrect Device Classification?

Indigo 2021.2.0 is now available and should update the GE Smart Motion Switch (26931). device type to relay (note a re-sync might be required).
