As I understand it, the Fibaro bypass is just a dummy load and could (at least theoretically) be used with any dimming switch. I use something similar with some old LED rope lights in combination with an Aeotec smart dimmer and with an under-cabinet LED art light with a Lutron dimming module. The dummy load is enough resistance to be able to "quench" the minor leak current and the LEDs only light when full AC current is present. Works well.

I have never hard wired such a thing myself (mine are plugin loads).
