Re: Any plans to support HomeSeer HSM200 Repeater/MultiFunct

Based on that Event Log it doesn't look like any commands from your HSM200 are making it to the Z-Stick. I presume it is within range. To rule out a Z-Stick problem you might want to exclude/re-include/re-sync a plug-in module (appliance/lamp/etc.) just to make sure that is working. If that works but the HSM200 won't exclude or include but it is within range, then I think you got a bad one...

Re: Any plans to support HomeSeer HSM200 Repeater/MultiFunct

well at the beginning of all this i cleared the z-wave network and reassicuated my two device. a door lock and a door sensor. they are happy. this is the only plugin. The door sensor is about the same distance as the hsm200. Their is either an issue with the wiring or the module. I gather yours work so must be my module. I guess it’s time for it to join al the insteon devices that have failed.

thanks for the follow up

Since it is easy to move the HSM200, move it to within a few feet of the Z-Stick to make sure it isn't a range / interference problem.

thanks for follow up and the idea. unfortunately it was about that exact distance. I tried another socket as a hail mary. still no luck. Guess it is the unit.

No, I tested my HSM200 against the older Z-Stick 2 as well (without any problems).

Chalk this one up to my low comfort levell with z-wave

I mis-understood teh documentation on exclusion.

I went back and also excluded it from the interface. The log for the first time reported that the device had been exlcuded. From there I started from ground level and git it working

Now just playing with parameters . Thanks for patience and help. I think I am now too old to truely understand al aspects of a z wave network..

Yes, we'll get this one (which is using a different ID) added to the next version (7.4.1).

After inclusion, Indigo sees three (3) devices, a luminance, motion and temperature sensor.

What I can not figure out is how change the color of the LED Indicator within Indigo?

Am I overlooking it?

The LED color is controlled using the Z-Wave color command class. Does Indigo support that?
