Re: DSC not working after transfer to new computer

I rebooted the Envisalink on its webpage software and that fixed the issue.

So I need to reactivate this. The problem came back after about 1 week of working Any ideas what would cause this problem to recur? Perhaps a temporary power failure?

Looks like network issues.

Re: DSC not working after transfer to new computer

I seem to recall you get that message if something else is already connected to the Envisalink which can only handle one connection at a time (which is annoying as i now have 2.. one for Indigo and one for HomeBridge-Envisalink) so you might wanna check your old machine isn't establishing a connection. You could also try power-cycling your alarm system to reset the envisalink.

Computer says no.

Re: DSC not working after transfer to new computer

Also, remember, only one system can be connected to Envisalink. So when I transferred from one system to another, my Envisalink kept failing with the new system because it was still connected to the old one. Just throwing that out there in case it helps.
