Hello all,
I am installing a new DSC 1864 (fw 4.6) with an EnvisaLink 3 on Indigo 6.1.0. I am integrating the DSC alarm plugin, and it works like a charm, with the only issue being that the 'LCD Line 1' and 'LCD Line 2' always show the Date & Time. They never update to show 'Exit Delay In Progress', 'Entry Delay in Progress', Faults, or any other message.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Right now it's just a clock display.

When you use the EnvisaLink, the actual LED lines are not sent for the plugin to update; I had thought they would too at first, but found the answer here on this forum in other post(s). I re-thought my control pages after that and went to more status updates (you can use the other various states to get all of the same information) such as buttons/lights that turn on or off on the page for "Ready", "Armed", etc.

Yeah, if you want the actual keypad status you'd need to get an IT-100 serial adapter.. Essentially it's the internal components of a keypad that connects to your Mac via rs233

Also, it looks like the displayed time is often lagging behind the keypad time and does apparently not constantly getting updated.

It should always be up to date (although there's a keybus bug that seems to delay the recorded time by 60 seconds)

I see up to 4 minute difference between system time and keypad. This is on a DSC panel. I think I will just use a time variable updated by Indigo instead.

The Envisalink devices only send a date / time broadcast every 4 minutes.
