Pandora Player Using 10.5 & Applescript?

Might anyone know of a Pandora player that is scriptable, controlled from Indigo,
that will run under 10.5.8?

Been just scripting a Pandora page load in Safari...very slow and clunky.

Thanks,

Carl

Did find Pandoraboy to try but for some reason when I open it the sign in button won't work and I can't resize the window.

I was able to navigate to another sign in screen and got it and the script to select stations working. Problem is
after I quit it and relaunch it wants the sign in again. I have "remember me" ticked but it doesn't have any effect.

Anyone know of a way around that?

Thanks,

Carl

I believe PandoraBoy stopped being updated a few OS' ago.. I use Pandora's Box, which is now called StreamBox in the Mac App store - works well for me. I haven't upgraded to StreamBox due to the older rev (Pandora's Box) allowing to go backwards in the playlist.

I have been using Pandoras Box/StreamBox for some time now and it works well. However, I think you are basically obligated to subscribe to Pandora. For me it's worth it.

Pandora's Box seems perfect except all searches for the download seem to lead to Streambox,
which won't run on 10.5.8.

Appreciate any link to get Pandora's Box.
I do have a Pandora One subscription.

Thanks,

Carl

I don't think you can get it. I communicated with the developer, and he stated he was "encouraged" by Pandora to modify Pandoras Box if he wanted to keep it going, hence the change of name to StreamBox and loss of the "back" button. I think it is only available in the app store, which may explain why it is not 10.5.8 compatible.

Thanks. Maybe time for some upgrade pains. Never fails for me...an upgrade will
fix one issue and cause 10 more.

Still using PandoraBoy and Pandora. Anyone got it to work with Python?

It is my impression that once the big switch occurs, the airfoil/itunes/pandora AppleScript control will go away. May be time to move on to Spotify or iTunes?

Remember - AppleScripts that don't target the Indigo Server are fine, just make them external scripts and you'll be good.
