Will switching on-off fast wear out the module?

I want to turn something on for 5 seconds, then off for 15, and repeat endlessly... Will that wear out the appliance module fast?

Hi Chris,

I don't know the exact answer to your question. Appliance modules have relays in them, which have a mechanical component (as you know from the click) and will only have an average life span of N uses. I have no idea how big N is... I do have some very old appliance modules that still work, but they definitely do not get toggled ever 10 seconds.
