IR tranceiver

I would like to control my AV equipment via Indigo.

I read the thread "IR Transceiver for Indigo?", from back in Feb., and it had a product recommendation. I'm wondering if there is anything new out that people are recommending.

Well it looks like the folks at Zephir are still actively developing software for their IR transmitter they are up to 2.1b11 as of Oct 6! It has been a while since I have even used the Zephir but I will power back up their hardware in the next few days.

Thanks the update Dale! I'll download it this weekend and play with it.

Matt, did you get a chance to play with it? I purchased one and have been able to succesfully record(?) from a remote yet. (Haven't tried real hard, I admit.) It seems to record but then cannot control the device.

I still haven't played with the latest beta. I remember when I recorded IR commands last (back in Classic OS 9), it was somewhat of an art to get a good recording of a remote command. Maybe your recording of the signal wasn't clean enough? Anyone else tried the OS X beta yet?

Regards,
Matt
