RFLink Gateway Control of Somfy RTS

Having moved into a new (to me!) house with Somfy blinds and shades, I am wrestling with integration of Somfy's system using various Arduino projects that address the Somfy RTS rolling code method of control.

I have had limited success, but have come across the RFLink Gateway project (http://www.rflink.nl) and have ordered a kit (https://www.nodo-shop.nl/en/rflink-gate ... cable.html) that is claimed to have native RTS support. There are further projects that provide links to an MQTT broker, but initially I would like to issue commands and receive data into Indigo via the Arduino's serial USB port. Note that the RF Gateway project offers support for a large number of RF devices (http://www.rflink.nl/blog2/devlist) and native integration with Domoticz, OpenHab and a number of other systems with plugins (http://www.rflink.nl/blog2/easyha).

My questions are:
Has anyone any experience of integration of RFLink with Indigo?
Can anyone suggest a "ready made" means of communicating via an Arduino serial USB connection?

Thanks in advance!

Re: RFLink Gateway Control of Somfy RTS

Note that the RFlink is a 433.42MHz transceiver for Somfy RTS or a 433.92MHz transceiver for all other sensors.
The RFXtrx433XL is one transceiver that operates on both frequencies. In normal operation it works at 433.92 and switches to 433.42 and back when a Somfy RTS command is transmitted

Thanks for the prompt response. I had looked at the RFXComm solution , but their website states that the XL is “Not Available”. If that’s not the case, it would be the obvious way to go.

Have you looked at the Bond Home? I think it controls Somfy.

I think my Somfy plugin does basic up/down/stop of rflink unless I’m misremembering the name/technology.

Thanks for your reply. I think your "Somfy Manager" plugin is for use with Somfy's MyLink device that is quite expensive! Seems that there's a plethora of solutions to the Somfy issue. But all you respondents have certainly given me options! Thanks (I think!!??)

Ah, that’s the one!

I’ll certainly look at rflink if there’s any sort of api available.
