First node mini arrived today and am seriously impressed! £4 for a controller that can drive these leds is awesome
Sadly my led strip I think is faulty only the first 30cm lights up, looks like a bulging solder joint at that point on the strip
Enough to test the effects with and they look really good.
Now to price up enough strips to do the windows at the front of the house! Think I’ll drop to 150 leds instead of 300 which takes 5m down to £20 instead of £30
Still means £40 or so per window!

Noel - you may have already tried this and be smarter than me, but have you updated the LED count in the LED setup screen in WLED. In my case I thought the same thing until I checked the setting, and I just noticed I miscounted and was still 1 short.
BTW I have a prototype plugin working. It is not too elegant (from a coding and error handling perspective) but I can add WLED devices as a dimmer object by IP address, dim and switch on and off. It needs more finesse but by the weekend I should have colour control and effects sorted and the other actions like toggle implemented as now I have cracked the basics it is just work defining states etc.
I will ultimately look to package for the plugin store, but I need to learn about all that is needed to make that work, but also happy to share on a "best intentions" basis as life may get in the way of my ability to respond

This https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eCE2BpLaUQ covers some of the macros and advanced setup options as well that will go a long way to what you need.
Also this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnvircC22hU is an excellent explanation of the different addressable strip types.
