LED Strip lighting control: Hue, 0-10v, DMX?? Ugh, help!

tl;dr - are there any 0-10v indigo compatible dimmers? OR Are there great ways to control DMX via indigo? Or is there something I'm missing.

Okay, as usual I'm trying to do something that isn't easily supported.

Found these amazing OSRAM LED strips - 3000 lumens per meter of tunable white madness!?!

https://www.osram.com/ds/ecat/LINEARlig ... P_4057488/

So I want to use these in a bunch of locations in my house. The challenge: how to control them from Insteon??

I found these: Dresden Elektronik Wireless Ballast Phoscon FLS-CT lp

https://smile.amazon.com/Wireless-Balla ... 176&sr=8-5

Good news, they can be controlled via HUE BRIDGE and Nathan Sheldon's amazing indigo plugin.

Bad news, the PWM is only 200Hz so the dimming isn't as smooth as I'd like/need it to be.

SOOO......

How can I control these things? There are a number of controllers that will take a 0-10v dimmer - Are there any that are indigo compatible?

There are DMX modules but I would ultimately like two way communication.

HOW CAN I CONTROL THESE TUNABLE WHITE STRIPS FROM INDIGO?

LED feels like where things are going - there must be a way to control these from indigo - HELP!

Thanks in advance for any tips/advice,

Anthony

Am I the only fool trying to make 0-10v work? Be brave (if there are others ...)

I don’t know much about the 0-10V DMX stuff (I thought most light strips ran on 12-24V), but I’ve had a fait amount of success getting things to work.

First potentially silly question/ potential solution: What happens if you hook the driver for these guys up to a regular old switch?

I don’t care how LED’s are advertised- I won’t trust them until I test them. Hence, my experimenting with The World’s Most Dangerous Children’s Toy last night:
Image
(Above- The Lutron dimmer worked well)

Another option could be a Lutron dimmer specifically for low voltage: Lutron PD-5NE-WH ELV Caseta Wireless Electronic Low Voltage In-Wall Dimmer, 1 pack, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M22SK1W/re ... 1CbX6TP5ZR

I can’t vouch for that one, but it may be worth investigating.

If you REALLY wanna get low level, you could try an Arduino and Karl’s plugin for it.

Report back in please!

Is it a different strip of lights you are trying to control? Because that strip is 24v. Also, DMX is overkill if you just want to dim the entire strip. Mi Light has some controllers that I believe one of the indigo plugins works with, and I know you can control them via python. They work with 12-24v and I haven't had any complaints about the dimming when I used them.
