Velux windows - some new options for integration?

Ive seen the integration of velux windows come up a few times in the past but there hasnt been a good solution. The velux integra windows that have motorised opening / closing and blinds use io automation which seems to be a proprietary solution from somfy.

All ive seen in the past are people directly hacking the remotes, but ive found two potential new avenues.

Firsltly there seems to be the somfy tahoma hub

https://www.somfy.co.uk/products/1811541/tahoma-

Secondly there is this new velux hub in collaboration with netatmo.

Anyone managed to integrate either with indigo?

For anyone looking to install new roof windows, FAKRO produce windows with Z-Wave built in. Not sure how easy they are to find. It also looks like they only produce for Europe.

I have 3 of the single channel KLF 100’s connected to fibaro twin relays. Pretty crude but with a virtual device it works well and you can pick them up on eBay for reasonable money from time to time. With each unit you can control a single group of devices.

The new KLF 200 looks to have some promise and has a web interface and a reverse engineered restful API, for around £112 and supports 5 channels.

See the thread https://community.openhab.org/t/io-home ... bush/11413 that looks at the options and detail on the KLF200

Interesting, good to see there are options. Looks like thst thread has only just started investigating the velux active, hopefully something comes of thst.

Will definitely look at fakro too as I havent got the windows yet.
