This is probably the thing I've wished for the longest with my home automation. Fortunately the Broadlink devices give me full control over my ATV's via Indigo/HomeKit/Siri but native would be nice.

Yea, that's the second... It's on the roadmap, just been busy and then on vacation. ;).

I suspect that 3rd party control is going to be limited to control 4 and the others that they were working with for Siri remote control functions. I also suspect they’re going to be bringing those guys into the HomeKit fold.

CEPro is reporting that it's sanctioned provider only: Crestron, Control4, and Savant.

Well they have already exposed basic playback and volume control to Siri. I can ask my home pod to Play/Pause, etc as well lower or raise the volume for any of the apple tvs in my house running 11.4 or greater. So appears to be getting processed by home kit. So we will see. :D
