Impressive. I wish they made hardware for this side of the pond.

LOL - was just about to post that as well. Here's hoping they do make the leap.

Convienent timing, i'll be looking to get a couple of flood sensors later in the year.. these may just fit the bill (assuming we ever see Indigo support)!

We support most of the Fibaro line and are interested in adding support for it (if it doesn't work out-of-the-box with Indigo).

Thanks Matt, hoping to get our hands on one soon.

Congrats on v6 BTW - it's fantastic and will be replacing our HomeVision setup at the Automated Home over the coming weeks.

So is your home the one that's on the wiring guide on your website? Or is that some other lucky sod?

Hi durosity, yup that's the one.

Always an ongoing project. Home Automators are never finished are we, always adding / changing stuff. But that's what keeps it such an interest too I guess. Tech is always changing and improving.

Thanks

Oh man that's awesome..can i move in with you please? ;)

i spent a lot of time refering to that when i first started looking into HA a few years ago. I hope you're planning to upgrade the article on your switch to using Indigo!

And yeah you're right.. it is a continually evolving system.. In a few months i'm moving to a new house and i'm hoping to automate everything i possibly can in it.. i just wish washing machines and dishwashers and the like still has serial ports on them like they used to :/

Thanks :) Will definitely be featuring Indigo on AH over coming months. Good to see Vesternet in the UK are a reseller now too.

Would love to feature a write-up of your Indigo setup too sometime if you are up for it? We run "My Automated Home" pieces like these - http://autoho.me/16T5qQy - drop me an email or PM.

Thanks

M.

Now that i might well do! As it stands right now my system is half boxed away awaiting a move to a new house but next year when we move in i'd be more than happy to do that for you! I'm now reading through those old postings to get ideas on other things i can do!

Just received it, and first impression was amazed by the size. Its a beautiful looking device. I've added it into Indigo and so far so good. The water detection part works perfectly straight off. The sensor sends and on signal as soon as water is detected, and an off as soon as water no longer present ( tested it in the sink ). The tilt sensor does not work as yet, nor the temperature sensor, but i've submitted the device info, but have to say, its a much nicer piece of kit than the Everspring flood sensor i have, although it is a good bit cheaper. It doesn't ship with a VDC power supply or the wired probe, need to look into getting these somewhere.
