Wow, that was fast!

Any ETA on the release version?

Thanks

We're working hard on it now (which is as much of an ETA as we ever give)... :)

It seems I get the same message from a qubino flush 2 relay.
I have a lot more off these qubino switches, they don't have this issue.

Message: HC Valve" energy total value out-of-bounds -214748364.8 kWh (ignored)

Please advice how to handle.

The error reported a bit earlier in the thread, which was that Indigo rejected all negative kWh values, was fixed in Indigo 7.2.0. Presuming you are using that version or later, it looks like you are just seeing Indigo reject a really large negative value. That is, I think your energy meter is occasionally sending bad data, which Indigo then logs but ignores.

The filter for negative values comes from my request some years ago... the device was sending some random very large negative values..

.. I still do not understand how a magnetic flux instrument can measure "negative" flux..
It measures 50/60 hz magnetic flux through its coils. The current goes forward and backwards with 50/60 Hz. .. there is no "direction" of AC current
Is there another sensor in these new devices?

... If I remember my physics lessons correctly

Hi, I am not sure when this happened or if it is related to the other issues discussed here, but my DSB28 is returning no energy data. It used to work fine, now both total and clamp values are constantly at 0.000 W. Indigo communicates with the device, and I have tried factory reset, re-syncing and so. No luck. The only relevant change I have made to my system is upgrading Indigo ... Any ideas?

I wonder if your device might not be dying. I have two of these devices and one of them fairly consistently stops communicating. A re-sync always brings it back. If that's not working for you, the only other thing you might try is to remove power to the device and let it sit for a spell before trying again.

Dave, thanks! Cutting power, resetting and re-syncing (a couple of times) did the trick. Now it reports watts again, perfect! Hopefully it’s not dying …

Glad to hear it. Hopefully, that will be the end of your troubles.

I've installed three of these DSB28s (EU model, 3 phases) last week and one of them is giving me hard time with energy reporting.

Two of these started reporting power & energy figures with default parameters from the start but one of them is acting oddly. It only reports power from 2 clamps but one of them works just fine. I've been fiddling with parameters 101-103 & 111-113 but no effect with reporting. Also resynced & done factory reset couple times.

Any ideas what to try, what/how to debug or should I just return the unit?
