Launch Sonos App for ipad

Another thread showed a great way to launch the apple remote app from a control page using "remote://". Anyone know how to launch any other apps...I tried "sonos://" and it was no good. I want to try to launch sonos and my red eye remote program.

As of v3.7 of the Sonos application, there appears to be no URL registered with IOS for Sonos.

So 3.7 is here... and despite being a release focussed on controllers and making easier to use there STILL doesnt appear to be a URL assocated with the iphone/ipad app to launch it from other apps.

Can anyone verify there is still no URL? And if not.... WHY NOT?!?! This is by far the easiest to implement feature requested on these forums. Would take the app developer about 30 secs to include the URL before sending the app to Apple.

Conclusion? Seems Sonos don't want to include a URL in their app... for a reason that i cannot fathom.

I believe, this is a feature the iOS developer needs to enable... For some reason, it appears Sonos is not enabling this....

As far as I can tell, Plex is in the same boat (see http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/top ... 3rd-party/ ).

As far as RedEye is concerned, you must be running v2.92 or higher, and it's redeye://URL. See the release notes, http://thinkflood.com/support/redeye/so ... ase-notes/

Thanks to both...great advice, and it has worked wonderfully.

Been considering wall mounting an iPad for control pages running a full screen browser like Atomic.
Using atomic://url works fine to open control pages but always opens a new tab when sent. Don't see any option within Atomic
to force it to not open new tabs and was hoping someone might have an idea how to make that not happen.

Any idea on the iPad DirecTV URL? Tried directv://and that opened the iPhone app
