Re: Starling Bridge Plugin Beta - motion stuck on for some P

The plugin looks solid but certain of my 16 nest protects show motion is detected when there is no motion and seem stuck in that state.

Is there some way to “reset” the motion flag on these stuck Protects?

Re: Starling Bridge Plugin Beta

So it's the Indigo state that is stuck and it is not showing as motion detected in the App?

Re: Starling Bridge Plugin Beta

Actually, having found the Protects in HomeKit it looks like it’s the Nest hardware that’s “stuck” because it says occupied in HomeKit as well.

Is there a way to reset or reboot the Protects? I have read that holding down the button will restart them, if you release the button before they factory reset.

I’ll try that unless you have other thoughts or if there’s a way to send such a command through Starling or Indigo.

Re: Starling Bridge Plugin Beta

The API shows the occupancyDetected field as being read-only and so you can't clear it via the plugin.
