Are there any examples of pop-up touch controls for controlling Hue Lights from Indigo Touch? (I find myself always having to go to the Hue app to dim, change colour etc.)

As far as I know, Indigo Touch doesn’t yet support color selection options for lights. You could create one or two Hue Device Attribute Controller devices which appear as dimmer devices in Indigo Touch to control hue and saturation for a specific light or group. That device type exists specifically to address the lack of color controls in the Indigo client when the Hue Lights plug-in was originally released.

Thanks Nat. Do you know of a dimmer UI visual example anywhere? I can’t visualise how the dimmer UI element works.

I ended up using a single button that steps thru my fav presets for different hue lights using a script.
The current color is reflected in the button color. Not ideal but works fine for me.

Thanks Carl. That’s a good idea!

As smart lighting is such a fundamental element of any smart home, it’s surprising that there are so few examples of the UI to control them.
