Anyway to implement dynamic scenes?

by dynamic scenes I mean what happens when you push the play button on a scene in the hue app, most fade colors slowly but you can adjust the speed. I've read in a few places that other HA platforms have figured this out. I'd probably never have static lights again, its that awesome.
