Devices not responding after installation of v0.6.5

I installed the update today and all my HomeKit devices immediately became unresponsive. Everything was working fine before the upgrade, so I don't think it's a Mac or settings issue. In desperation I deleted the bridge from my home and now I can't add it back. DNS Discovery shows the bridge, so I'm not sure what's going on. I've been through the troubleshooting guide and restarted the plugin, Indigo and the Mac, but with no success.

Any suggestions gratefully received!

After I installed HKLS v0.6.5 today, my HomeKit camera devices no longer functioned. Then I realized that I did not remove Apple's quarantine from the newly downloaded plugin. I executed the following command:
Code: Select all
sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Library/Application\ Support/Perceptive\ Automation/Indigo\ 2022.2/Plugins
and then reloaded HKLS. Now everything works fine.

I don't know if you are having the same problem, but I thought that I would offer this as a potential solution.

Hi

Well thats a bit of a big failure after upgrade….

Not quite sure what might have caused that.

Presumptions
1. The HLKS bridge starts up without any error messages?

You deleted the bridge from the home - yikes - wouldn’t really recommend that…. I presume you mean from the home app?

Ok.
Will be hard to know what is what now….

Version 0.6.5 - add a reset accessory menu item.
Run this on the HKLS bridge you have deleted from home app.
This should allow you to reconnect it as a new bridge to the home app.

If this works - then unsure what was up (something security key exchange wise) - if not, will need to see plugin config advanced items menu (which should all be default/blank)

(And if have file logging from update date before and after that would be great to have a look at. Zip and PM or email)
