Am also getting the Pair erorr. Relates to an old iPad mini that is running 15.7. It's too old to update to 16. I've switched off Home in iCloud Settings but that's not stopped the messages. Any thoughts on what might fix it?

Not sure with the old device. Basically pre 16 won’t be compatible. Not sure whether possible to delete Home app altogether from this old device (presumably not working?)

Failing that are the steps above (about logging off and on everywhere - particularly appleTV) would wait it out and likely to go away when iCloud catches up.

Are you still able to open the home app on the old iPad mini and control accessories?

I switched off Home in iCloud settings so at the moment no. Will try switching it back on to see what happens.

Checked this morning. And no, it no longer connects to my home.

Not the same problem I had then where it was still allowing coms with the old system so hadn’t fully upgraded. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Re: iOS 16.2 HomeKit "Architecture" Changes

I am having a recurring problem where all HKLS devices are reporting back, “No Response” in Homekit. I had this first occur a couple of weeks ago and when I had no success in resolving it, I re-created my HKLS bridges and published everything back to Homekit. That worked for a few days and now I’m receiving “No Response” again with every HKLS device published to Homekit.

I am running HKLS on a 24” iMac running Ventura 13.2.1 and all OS devices running 16.3.1. Indigo is 2022.2.

Any thoughts on this are appreciated!

Thanks!

Ok - seems you might be hijacking this thread? :) Have you upgraded to the new 16.4 HomeKit architecture and now seeing this?

Probably best to open a github issue.
https://github.com/Ghawken/HomeKitLink-Siri/issues

Essentially No response - particularly after working for a while, really could be anything and usually relates to networking settings, unless particularly plugin error being seen

Debug logging from Plugin would be helpful.

Basically HomeKit can’t connect to your Indigo Mac.
Firewall?
Network issues?
Blocked particularly Ports?
mDNS issue?
Bonjour connection issue?
iOS device issue (old IOS devices have issues)

This is pretty generic: But worthwhile reviewing.
https://www.macworld.com/article/673739 ... 0is%20down.

Also various Router settings found to be issue (& restarting router useful)
This:
Code: Select all
So, I disabled the following options in my router’s config and it started working again!
IGMP Proxy
IGMP Snooping
IGMP Fast Leave

Unifi
Code: Select all
Thank you, turning off “Enable multicast enhancement (IGMPv3)” fixed the problem for me!

Try some of these, and welcome to google particularly router setup and HomeKit no response - you may find a similar answer.

If no easy answer - open a github issue and can have a look and logs and walk through other troubleshooting.

No hijacking! Just used this thread previously for an issue so tried it again!

Thanks so much for the suggestions. I’ll give them a try and report back!

No problem! Do open a github issue - better for logs and stuff - and let us know!

Thanks
