problem with using Email+ to send SMS

Although I can use the regular Apple mail client to send a SMS text message through Tmoble using 111-111-1111@tmomail.net, I can not do so within Indigo using its Email function. Note: the hyphens are not used in the actual email address.

What happens when you try? Any error messages?

What SMTP server are you using?

I did a couple of tests with my provider -- Verizon (US).

Sending a text message through the Indigo SMTP device to my phone number did NOT go through.
Sending a text message through the MacOS Mail.app to my phone number did NOT go through.

Sending a text message through the MacOS Mail.app to my phone number from a different email address DID go through.
Sending an email message through the Indigo SMTP device DID go through.

FWIW, I recently had a text notification show up hours after it should have which I chalked up to Verizon; but now I think it might be the email provider I use for Indigo that's the culprit.

Just to follow up on this, I did receive my original SMS message -- 4 hours and 40 minutes after I sent it. I just sent another and it arrived in about 10-15 seconds.

I'm more confident than ever that the issue for me lies with the email service I'm using and not the plugin.

If the plugin can't deliver the email to the SMTP server (provider), it should report an error. After that, it's out of our conttrol.
