Indigo Smart Home Skill - not available in Germany?

Hi,

I am quite excited to play around with the Alexa integration but I run into some issues.

Devices are set up in Indigo but apparently the "Indigo Smart Home Skill" is not available in the Alexa Skill Store here in Germany.
I assume that this specific skill is only available in the US, is there any way to work around or do you know if the Indigo Smart Home Skill will be published in other countries, including Germany, as well?

I noticed that searching for Indigo in the UK we get the choice of 'Cheeky Suzie' and 'Cranky Cathy', could add 'Wonky Email+' to the list but still no Indigo Skill yet!

The US is about 6 hours behind us (UK). I am sure they will be on the case as soon as they surface.

Still doesn’t find it. Searched for “Indigo”, “Indigo Smart Home” and “Indigo Domotics”

Hmmm, not sure why they haven't published it abroad yet. What happens if you click on this link?

Ah, looks like we're going to have to do more work for global distribution, which is odd since we had beta testers in Europe and it worked for them.

We're looking into this now.

It is not Brexit then ! Same for me.

Jay. I have a US Amazon account as well and can set things up under there so maybe they tested with their US accounts but production use our Alexa devices are on the local Amazon instances.

Which Europe region instance did you build the skill in?

My test indigo Alexa one I did last year I used Ireland eu-west-1 and can see it in my Alexa app using my Amazon.co.Uk account.

It has nothing to do with where I have the skill code deployed (that's right).

It's all about "languages" and how Amazon attempts to map that onto "regions". It's terrible unfortunately (Is UK english really that different than US english and CA english and AU english?). We know what we need to do, but it's requiring us to remove the published skill, then resubmit. All of which on their turnaround times, which seem to be on the order of 24 hours for any given request.

Bottom line: everyone's patience is greatly appreciated while we navigate through Amazon's deployment obstacles.
