HassBridge makes Virtual Device a binary sensor
Posted: Tue May 19, 2020 9:38 amIn V1.2.1 of HassBridge, my virtual device (Device Group type) show up in Home Assistant as a binary sensor instead of a switch. I have troubleshot it to an issue with the fact that this particular virtual device (device group) in Indigo controls both a dimmer and a switch. If I change that virtual device to only control dimmers or only control switches then the virtual device shows up correctly in Home Assistant. I have downgraded to v1.2.0 and the issue goes away, ie the virtual device that has both the dimmer and switch shows up as a switch in HA.
