You shouldn't need to delete or recreate any switchboard devices... But you may want to open them to check that any new settings are set properly....

One of the newer features, is that the devices should auto-update with the new definitions, when switchboard is started....

As best I can tell the keyfobs are set up correctly. At least, they work.

Can you please email me your Indigo database, and I'll take a look to see if I can duplicate this... It's working fine here.... If your willing email it to Benjamin AT schollnick DOT net...

So somehow, Indigo believe's there a device with that Device ID....

Since I don't have an SC9000, I don't know. The documentation for the SC9000 doesn't discuss how the sensor signal is received by the SC9000. I presume that the SC9000 does have a more powerful transceiver built-in to it, but that's an assumption.

So you have an CM15 Pro? Can you move that closer to the SC9000?

- Ben

Definitely, it is not a location problem. I moved the cm15 pro very close to the sc9000 and the inconsistent behavior is still present. It somewhat bothers me, because I want to have a safe way to tell if the door is really closed or ot, and take some actions on that. I should maybe change the device to a DS10....
When armed, the SC9000 console sends the x10 it is using (e.g., B1). But, as far as I can tell, this can not be used to 'arm' the console, it is only a notification. Do others dig deeper on this?

Sorry to have bothered you Benjamin, it was indeed my rapid upgrades. I did open/redefine each switchboard zone and device and it works fine now ...

It's not a bother... As I tried to explain v0.74 shouldn't require you to do that... But there appears to be an issue with the API call that is suppose to fix that...

Rvarela,

I am not sure what to tell you here... I don't have an SC9000, and it appears to be an European unit?

Okay, I am going through the SC 9000 manual (which is the same as the safeguard system, see https://www.uk-automation.co.uk/pdf/safeguard.pdf)/

B1 - reflects the Alarm status (On = Armed, Off = Disarmed)
A1 - Extra Siren (On = Turn On Siren, Off = Turn off Siren)

The house codes can be changed....

But these are only broadcast notifications. I can't use B1 to change the armed status....
So I can add a SC 9000 device into Switchboard, but it would only be useful in displaying your current armed status...

But the easier answer is create a Remote Button and assign it to B1 in Indigo. Name is Alarm Status, and you can then write triggers, and etc, against it....

But there simply is only one way communication from the SC 9000, so Switchboard can't help with Remote Arming, or Disarming of the system....

I just checked, and I couldn't duplicate this.... But I've revised my signature, and updated it...

Thanks again Ben. Yes, the SC9000 is a SafeGuard european unit. The same as in the US, but more expensive (as all the x10 products). When I see that you can buy there a DS10 for 10 US$ and here the DS13 cost about four and a half times more, some part of my mind reacts in an angry way.

But well, regarding to what the SC9000 sends, it is what I thought, now said by one who knows...
About triggering this alarm. it may be a way. The manual says that the SC9000 has some (NC) normally closed contacts that can be used (ports 31 and 32). An obvious way could be an external alarm, but what If I attach there one DS10? If so, changing the state of the DS10 on some event could trigger the alarm...Am I wrong?
