It's 10pm, do you know where your iPhone / iPodTouch are?

Has anyone seen my iPhone, or iPodTouch? They asked about going out and picking up some Applications, but I told them No....

Oh well.... If only Indigo, could help me keep track of them...
Nah, it'll never happen... Indigo doesn't have GPS support...

Does it?

Anyone with a MobileMe account, and an iPhone, or iPodTouch with "Find my iPhone" turned on, please feel free to contact me... I think I have a Plugin that you might want to help test...

Just drop a line (benjamin AT schollnick DOT net) or leave a comment on the Blog entry...

You need to set your target Longitude & Latitude. If you don't have those, then it can't calculate the difference in distance, and won't map it...

Sorry where do i set this up all i have done is set these up.

To Configure the Indigo Server for use of the Plugin, The following Variables need to be made:
MobileMe_UserName – Your MobileMe Username
MobileMe_Password - Your MobileMe Password
FindMyiPhone_Lat - The Latitude of your “target”
FindMyiPhone_Long – The Longitude of your “target”

does it not use the indigo settings lat long as the target.

Double check the FindMyiPhone_Lat & FindMyiPhone_Long variables, because the plugin is not seeing those variables...
If it was seeing it, you would see the additional entries in the output:

Target Latitude - 43.0751
Target Longitude - -77.5966
Estimated Distance - 1.03027126764

Are you sure that there isn't a typo?

All working seems like the format of the target GPS was wrong.

Re: It's 10pm, do you know where your iPhone / iPodTouch are

I am having a hard time getting this to work.

I get "internal error" when I visit the site and this pops up in the server log:

WebServer undefined page requested "http://192.168.15.100:8176/findmyiphone/css/global4.css" from 192.168.15.100
WebServer undefined page requested "http://192.168.15.100:8176/findmyiphone/css/indigo4.css" from 192.168.15.100

I don't have either of those files and don't see them in the zip archive. Did I miss something ?

Interesting... The CSS files don't appear to be in the Zip file... I'll repackage it tonight, and take care of that...

The CSS messages seem to be Red Herrings... Something else is causing the script to crash, my first gut reaction is that during the recent changes that Apple may have changed something in the Find My iPhone system that is causing the script to crash.

I will see if I can test this later today... But it not going to be easy, especially since my office was moved and I don't get cellular there now....
