Shelly1 Relay Sensor Input

I'm interested in knowing if anyone has had success getting the Shelly1 "SW" terminal to act as a sensor input with this plugin. My objective is to use the device to control my garage door by having an action group close the relay for around 1 second (based on my garage opener's open/close method) and concurrently using the "SW" input to monitor garage door state via reed switch @ 24v (powering Shelly1 and supplied by garage door opener).

I use Shelly Uni for my garage doors, two inputs and two outputs.

Are you using the Uni with Karl's Shelly plugin?

Set the trigger on dev state “input” changed
