Ring Security Alarm support?

My DSC alarm is getting a bit old. Just saw Ring has an alarm panel AND a retrofit kit to take advantage of existing wired door and window sensors.

I use my Alarm to trigger lights-out events at night, turn on Sonos when I arrive home (specific stations depending on the user code) and to set the Nest thermostat to Away/some lights out when I leave, lock the doors etc.

I could probably do some of this (the home/away) with my iPhone or Apple Watch network detection.

But I'm seriously looking at moving to the Ring alarm panel instead of my DSC/Envisalink 4 setup.

Wondering if this plugin does or could support the Ring alarm panel; either for sensor status or for home/away/armed/disarmed/disarmed by whom settings.

Looks like the homebridge folks have figured a lot of it out: https://github.com/dgreif/ring. Don't have the alarm yet - just throwing this question out there to see if anybody else has also thought of getting it to work with Indigo.

Thanks

Re: Ring Security Alarm support?

FWIW, I installed this in a docker container: https://github.com/tsightler/ring-mqtt

Used FlyingDiver's MQTT Connector and MQTT Shims plugin, Got my Ring Doorbell to alert for 'ding' and 'motion' messages. Means the alarm looks promising for alerting on its sensors. A bit more latency than like a local zwave motion sensor. I need to find out if it reports a unique disarm message based on user code used.
