MQTT Broker plugin survey

I'd like to get some input from users of the MQTT Broker plugin, especially those having problems with the Broker hanging or stopping or otherwise not processing messages.

Please provide:

MacOS Version
Indigo Version
Plugin Version
# of MQTT messages handled by the plugin per minute (approximately)
Frequency of issues with the plugin (as above)

Re: MQTT Broker plugin survey

For instance, my production server is:

MacOS Ventura 13.6.4
Indigo 2023.2.0
Plugin 2023.2.1

Less than 100 messages per minute (only one device, a ratgdo controller)

Never fails

Re: MQTT Broker plugin survey

MacOS Version 13.5
Indigo Version 2023.2
Plugin Version 2023.2.1
# of MQTT messages handled by the plugin per minute (approximately) n/a
Frequency of issues with the plugin (as above)
I just returned to my vacation home to find that none of the MQTT controls are responding to Indigo commands. I cannot recall any event that may have caused this with the possible exception of installing the 2023.2.1 version of the plug-in. That was in January, and I do not recall the specifics, e.g., whether I tested it.
Prior to January when Indigo/Shelly was working, with many fewer devices installed (17) compared to my home, very rough guess, the broker required reloading about 10% of the time. FWIW, today, the controls do respond to the Shelly app.

Re: MQTT Broker plugin survey

MacOS Version 13.1
Indigo Version 2022.2
Plugin Version 2022.1.0
# of MQTT messages handled by the plugin per minute (approximately) Recently (again, I can't attribute a cause), the event log has been spewing the message " Trigger g NGMQTT Connector Event" - guessing 100/minute. This can't be good, but regardless, the broker is working with a work-around:. a plug-in broker reload followed by a 1 second delay, and then the control command. Before the work-arounds, I'm guessing the broker failed 33% of the time. In this home, I've installed 33 Shelly devices and there are many more instances in which they are controlled than in my vacation home.
My other work-around attempt has been to install the HomeBrew Broker and the Docker Broker per your suggestions; thus far, I have been unable to detect the broker with MQTT Explorer (note - these broker install attempts are not on the servers running Indigo). At this point, the other brokers are not finding the mosquito.conf file - still working at it. But if you were to make the plug=in broker function reliably, that would be great.
I'm happy to do beta testing if that would be useful.
