Homebridge MQTT-Thing

Does anyone have experience reading an Indigo device status published by the MQTT Connector and read by the Homebridge MQTT-Thing plugin within a standalone Homebrige server?

Publish works great and I can create the device within Homebridge, but having an issue parsing the correct state.

The function in Homebridge that is having the issues is:
