Tasmota Sonoff status

I am using sonoff switches flashed with tasmota and MQTT connector I can operate the switches from indigo.
One problem if you operate the switches from Alexa or the device indigo does not know the status has changed.
Is there a way round this?

You're subscribed to the wrong topic, I think. What are you subscribed to? And how do you have your Shim devices configured?

Sorry if subscribed to the wrong topic but i was not sure exactly where the question should be posted as I assume there should be a way to have indigo check the status of the device via MQTT?

I meant the wrong MQTT Topic. Not the wrong forum.

Indigo doesn't "check" the device status, the Shim device needs to update based on the topics that the Tasmota device is publishing.

As I recall, Tasmota published state changes something like 'tele/<DEVICE>/STATE. So you need to be subscribed to a wildcard that matches ('#' or 'tele/#'), you need a trigger that matches that, and then you need a Shim device that uses that trigger.

So what do you have for subscriptions and triggers?

Re: Tasmota Sonoff status

Apologies i am new to these interfaces.
In the attached you can see my configuration for Ethan-Lounge which toggles correctly from indigo.
How do i setup a wildcard to track the status?

Thanks for your support
Bill

You're using the GreenSky MQTT plugin. You're posting in the wrong forum. You should be in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=134&t=19313

Yes, it's confusing that there are three different MQTT plugins (four if you include my Shims plugin).

I'm going to close this thread. If you decide to switch to using my plugins, post a new thread if you need help.
