hi. any chance you will add support for the outdoor bulbs to 1.3.30 (calla and lilly)? i am assuming that is what needs to happen since i cannot find them after reloading my device list.
thanks.

Hi Jeff.

Sorry. I don't support any version of the plugin prior to the current version. You're welcome to edit the "supportedDevices.py" file inside the plugin to attempt to add support yourself though. That file can be found by going to the /Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 6/Plugins folder then right-clicking on the Hue Lights plugin and choosing "Show Package Contents" then going to the Contents/Server Plugin folder. You'll see the file in there. You'll need the exact model ID of those lights (which should be visible from the Hue app on your iOS or Android device when viewing details on the lights).

Hi Nathan,

We just installed the new Hue Lightstrip Outdoor but unfortunately the HUE Plugin don't recognized them:
https://www2.meethue.com/en-us/p/hue-wh ... 6677530938
(We thought all the Lightstrips were the same model ).

For the time being we made a Hue Group, so we can switch them anyway on and off by Indigo :D

Kind regards,

John

Thanks for the report. Those don’t even ship until October according to that web page. It also doesn’t look like Philips has updated their API docs to list the new model (unless I missed it). If you can provide the exact modelID from the Hue app, I can add support. I’d also need to know what color modes it supports (color temperature, extended color, etc).

Thanks for your very fast reply Nathan.
Philips is a Dutch company, so we are apparently the first to receive the new models :-)
(With Apple products it's America first....)

Below a screen dump of the model ID.
Color temperature, extended color, etc. are all the same as the indoor light strips.

Thanks for your support and take your time!

Kind regards,

John
