Re: Hue Lights discussion

I have added a new light strip to test it in the Hue app, but then I unplugged it until I install it. It's another of the GLEDOPTO Smart ZigBee LED Strip Controllers named Sunroom Strip 2. I never added it as a device into Indigo.

Re: Hue Lights discussion

Thanks. That explains it then. You wouldn’t have had to create any Indigo device for the error to appear. Simply having it paired with the hub would cause the error. If you unpair it from the hub (delete it from the lights section of the Hue app) the error will stop. I’ll have a fix for the bug in the next update.

  • Fixed a bug that would cause an error if a light strip only supported color temperature.

Re: Hue Lights discussion

Hi there-

I got my hands on a few of the Hue Amarant lights. They are not populating in the plugin. Any chance I can help get them supported?

Re: Hue Lights discussion

Hi
I have a few of those and they’re working fine with the plug-in
Give me a minute and I’ll check the indigo device setup and let you know

Re: Hue Lights discussion

Hi
I have them setup as a "Hue Colour/Ambiance and compatible"

Hope that helps
Cheers

Edit: in the hue app my amarants are showing as device ID as below

Re: Hue Lights discussion

That's so strange, I can't think of why mine is not showing up?

Hi Mike.

As marketability noted, perhaps the Amarants you received have a newer/different "Model" than the version recognized by the Hue Lights plugin. If so, I'll need to add support. Could you post a screenshot of one or two of your Amarant lights as they appear in the Hue app like the one above?

Got it. Thanks! Yep. Looks like it's a new model ID. I'll add that in the next plugin update.

Hi again Nathan! Your update of a couple weeks ago fixed my error problems, but now I have them again every few seconds. Running version 17.53. Here's the error - let me know if you need the log.

Re: Hue Lights discussion

I’m wondering if anyone has any experience running the iConnectHue app and recalling the animations that are available via the Indigo Hue Plugin? Scenes from other apps seem to work, but not those.

Thanks.
Mike
