Re: Hue Lights discussion

I have a new bulb that doesn't seem to be recognized by the plugin.

The Hue app says it is:

Hue white lamp
Model: LWA008
SW: 1.55.7_r28193

It is just a plain white light. No color temperature adjustment.

Love this plugin. Thanks!

Re: Hue Lights discussion

Might I request support for a new type of Filament lamp, LWO003
It's one of the bigger HUE filamant bulbs that was recently released.

Suppress Logging of Hue Light Events

Loving my Hue lights, and loving this plugin.

And a question ...

I've programmed a set of Halloween scenes, and I'm using Indigo to transition between them every 15 seconds. I have 10 lights involved, which means I get 40 log entries per minute that aren't really of much value to me.

Anyone know of a way to suppress the logging ?

Re: Hue Lights discussion

Sorry. There's currently no way to suppress those logs.

Re: Hue Lights discussion

I'm not getting support for Lily XL spotlight...

The info is:

Hue outdoor spot
Model: 1746230V7
SW: 1.56.7_r29434

Can we get it added, please?

Re: Hue Lights discussion

Sure.

In order to add support, I need to know what kind of light it is. Can it handle full color? Can it handle color temperature changes? If you're not sure of the answers to those questions, I'd need to get about 10 seconds worth of debugging log output from you so I can find out that information.

Re: Hue Lights discussion

Its identical to Lily...except for lumen output...

Im fine to give debugging if you tell me how.

I emailed as well so if you answer that, we can do that part offline.

Re: Hue Lights discussion

Hi again Jann.

I received your email. Thank you. Nope. No need for debug info. Knowing it's essentially the same as the original Lily is enough info. I'll add support in the next release which should be within a week.

Re: Hue Lights discussion

Nathan, It's me again: "Mr. Well, I'm just gonna buy a bulb I don't know if is in the Plugin's repertoire..." 8)

So, I saw new Hue 1600lm's (model LWA008). They're basically a 1600 lumen version of the normal Hue White A21 (Soft White).
It's 17W. (and BTW: are THEY LIGHTER than the older 800lumen Hue bulbs!) :D

It's info is: MODEL: LWA008, SW: 1.55.7_r28193.

Does the plug-in handle these? I don't wanna try it yet cos Indigo controls the lights it is gonna replace.

Thanks in advance!
