Plugin Support Changes

Hello everyone.

My wife and I have recently moved and I no longer have the time or resources to maintain an Indigo home automation system, much less code for the plugins that I've shared. The Hue Lights, Pioneer Receiver and SleepyBed IQ plugin code that used to exist in my personal GitHub repository has been moved to the Indigo Domotics public GitHub repository at https://github.com/IndigoDomotics. The other plugins (Dimmer Extender, NOAA Weather Plus and Announcer) haven't been updated in years and are now effectively end of life with no plans to be updated (unless someone wants to copy them and make their own version based on code from those plugins). Eventually, this "Nathan Sheldon Software" section of the forum will be moved to the Open Source Plugins forum.

Thanks everyone for all the great feedback over the years. I'm glad that I was able to contribute to the community.

Re: Plugin Support Changes

I don’t personally use any of your plugins but I do appreciate all the plugin developers who contribute their time and energy for this ecosystem.

Thanks again for your contributions.

Thanks for your work, especially on the Hue plugin that I have used extensively.

Re: Plugin Support Changes

Nathan also from me all the best with your future endeavors

If anyone needs help with the Hue plugin let me know

Again all The credits go to Nathan.
I just fixed some little things. And I am a happy user with >60 lamps and 2 gateways.

Still learning how to best use things. If anyone would be happy to share how to best use scenes groups etc would like to talk and learn.

Re: Plugin Support Changes

Nathan, I’m not exaggerating when I say without your Hue plugin, I would almost certainly not have migrated to Indigo. I was willing to toss all my Zigbee sensors and keypads, but the amount of hue stuff I had was prohibitively expensive to replace at the time. Plus there wasn’t a reasonable alternative on the market then!

So I also give many thanks to you for all your work.

SmartThings refugee, so happy to be on Indigo. Monterey on a base M1 Mini w/Harmony Hub, Hue, DomoPad, Dynamic URL, Device Extensions, HomeKitLink, Grafana, Plex, uniFAP, Fantastic Weather, Nanoleaf, LED Simple Effects, Bond Home, Camect.

Re: Plugin Support Changes

Has anyone updated NOAA Plus yet? So far as I can tell, this was the only plugin that provided forecast temps, which is very useful to me.

Re: Plugin Support Changes

The more recent versions of the standard NOAA plugin now include a forecast device type that includes forecast data for 2 weeks.
