Philips Hue Play

Hi,

I think the Philips Hue Play are not yet supported, am I right?

Because I cannot control them from Indigo.

Thanks
Marco

Re: Philips Hue Play

Hi Marco.

No. Philips has not published the model ID information for the Hue Play yet. However, if you provide debug log output from the Hue Lights plugin (turn on debugging, then reload the plugin and paste in the log from the point where the plugin reloaded into your response), I can probably add support. Be sure to also tell me what you named the your Hue Play device in the Hue app so I can find it in the log.

Re: Philips Hue Play

Thanks Marco.

What capabilities does the Hue Play have? Does it support color temperature and full color or just full color?

Re: Philips Hue Play

Hi Marco.

Thanks for the link. But I need to see the debug log output from the Hue Lights plugin in order to know exactly what capabilities that device has so I’ll know what device group to put it in. You can get debug logs by going to the Plugins menu -> Hue Lights -> Toggle Debugging. Then reload the plugin (Plugins -> Hue Lights -> Reload). Copy the log from the reload point to where it says how many lights were loaded and paste it into your reply.

Re: Philips Hue Play

Version 1.6.23 Posted

  • Added support for the GLEDOPTO color/color temperature light strip.
  • Added support for the Hue Play color/color temperature light.
  • Fixed bug with existing support for GLEDOPTO generic ZigBee color temperature only light strip. It was previously part of the full color device group. It's now part of the Ambiance device group. This will require users to re-define the device in Indigo.
