Plastic Project Box?

Anyone found a proper plastic project box that will house this unit with the correct standoffs for the PCB?

I'm searching, but figured I'd ask.

Thanks!

Re: Plastic Project Box?

I couldn't find a perfect fit.
I got a standard box and drilled stand-off legs into it.

Re: Plastic Project Box?

There's a good box custom to this on Thingaverse that you can print yourself if you have a 3D printer.

SmartThings refugee, so happy to be on Indigo. Monterey on a base M1 Mini w/Harmony Hub, Hue, DomoPad, Dynamic URL, Device Extensions, HomeKitLink, Grafana, Plex, uniFAP, Fantastic Weather, Nanoleaf, LED Simple Effects, Bond Home, Camect.

Here you go: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3980983

Sorry I can't provide any details about the printing process as a friend did it for me.

Re: Plastic Project Box?

man that's a crazy price.

For that kind of cash, I'd just buy a generic job box, drill some holes, and spend the remaining $40 on wine to celebrate.

Good lord, man... I'll load that STL up tonight and see what it would take, but I would print that for you... that's an easy print to do.

Where will this be going? Specifically, any high temps or UV exposure given your location says NV...

It will sit on a shelf in my rack where it resides now. Temps will never be over 90º F hidden away in the Dark. the cheapest plastic you have will do!

Will $15 work? I know nothing about the boards, so make sure the model looks correct for the cutouts and such you are expecting... From what I can tell it is around 6" long to the outsides (shows 151mm but not sure if that includes the skirt/support and such or just the model. I actually have a couple of things coming for the printer this weekend so can print it while playing around with that if you decide you want it.
