8 Channel Network Relay Indigo Plugin Introduction

The 8 Channel Network Relay plugin is designed to allow Indigo to control the relay board you can purchase on eBay here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/262874035942. other, similar boards may work, but this appliance has a seemingly proprietary interface and is unlikely to be found many other places. You can read the docs I was given by the manufacturer on the github repo: https://github.com/davidnewhall/indigo-8channel-relay/tree/master/docs. If the board you have listens on TCP port 1234 then this plugin will likely work for your application.

The plugin provides access to the relays as well as the input sensors. It also provides a pulse command that runs the built-in pulse feature on the relay board. The input sensors are polled on an interval, so they're not great for catching short-lived changes like a door opening. I honestly haven't found a great use for the input sensors myself; they're just too slow.

Install the plugin like any other Indigo plugin. You can download it from here: https://www.indigodomo.com/pluginstore/196/

Once installed, add a new device, select 8 Channel Network Relay and configure the device settings. If you need help, please open a new forum request or open an issue on GitHub.

Version 1.0.0 was released Jan 3, 2019 and adds support to control the relays as native sprinkler devices.

Enjoy!
