Growl Error After 6.0.5 Upgrade

I just upgraded to 6.0.5 and am seeing the Growl plugin constantly reloading
with this error:

Code: Select all
Growl Error                     Error in plugin execution InitializeMain:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "plugin.py", line 14, in <module>
  File "/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 6/Plugins/Growl.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/Growl/Growl.py", line 14, in <module>
<type 'exceptions.ImportError'>: dlopen(/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 6/Plugins/Growl.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/Growl/_growl.so, 2): no suitable image found.  Did find:
   /Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 6/Plugins/Growl.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/Growl/_growl.so: unknown required load command 0x80000022

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Carl

Interesting - it seems to imply that the shared library provided with the Growl API isn't loading on your copy of Mavericks. I just retested on Mavericks here and it seems to be working fine. You might try shutting down the server, deleting the plugin (/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 6/Plugins/Growl.indigoPlugin) then running the installer again which should reinstall the plugin.

Thanks. I'm still running 10.5.8. I'll give your suggestion a try.

Ah - that's different. 10.5.8 hasn't changed and we haven't recompiled the Growl shared object that ships in the plugin - so there's definitely something else wrong.
