how to become apple developer and get a recognized ID

I like to be able to share apps I develop.

When ever someone downloads my apps they marked as not done by a recognized apple developer.

I have signed up on the apple developer site, but don't know how to add that information to my code such that the code become executable (open) on other persons mac's. Is it the Person ID and how would I use it?

I haven't done this myself but take a look at this Apple Code Signing Guide.
