Suggestion - port server to Linux for use in Raspberry Pi

Hi guys

I have a suggestion. How about porting the server portion of indigo to Linux, that should be simple given that you are using C++ and there is no UI on the server.

What would be the point of this? As you are probably aware the raspberry pi computer now has a z-wave daughter board:

It also has a USB port so customers who already have a USB dongle could use their existing hardware.

If your server ran on Linux your customers could use a raspberry pi (or similar) as the main controller, and only use the mac when setting up the system.

We intentionally designed the Indigo Server to be portable to run under embedded linux hardware. That doesn't mean we'll do it (limited resources here so we have to choose our focus very carefully), of course, but the possibility exists. :-)
