KeySerial or

Hi,

I just realized that I can use either the KeySerial1 or the USA2843P1.1 interface. Both show in the pull down interface menu in Indigo. What is the difference of these 2 interface ? See the picture here ...

Re: KeySerial or

KeySerial1 is a symlink to the other one. The only danger you'd have using it is that the keyspan driver assigns KeySerial1 to the first adaptor it finds - so if you ever used more than 1 at a time it might not point to the one you want. The safer course of action is to use the USA* one.

I think that's how it works that is... ;)

Re: KeySerial or

The driver apparently creates it.
