Log DIfferences?

Since I upgraded to 6.0 last night -- a process which went amazingly smoothly and suffered no "breaks" so far in anything critical; well done! -- the log window is longer showing a time stamp for each action it takes. I have to open the written log to see time sequences. I looked in the preferences, but did not see any way to turn this back on. Is there anything I can do?

I am also getting a series of "Traceback" reports in red, which I assume to be errors (?), as follows:
Code: Select all
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "plugin.py", line 966, in runConcurrentThread
  File "plugin.py", line 870, in run_search_for_idevices
  File "plugin.py", line 891, in create_pickled_data_for_web
  File "plugin.py", line 899, in save_pickle
<type 'exceptions.IOError'>: (2, 'No such file or directory', '/library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 6/IndigoWebServer/plugins/find-my-idevices/pickled_data')

I'm guessing this is caused by an out-of-date plugin?

Thank you,

--Cliff

Re: Log DIfferences?

Sorry to disappoint, but the event log window has never shown the time stamp on every line - it's not changed in the last 4 versions... :)

The error is from the find my idevices plugin.

Re: Log DIfferences?

FYI, the logic that is used is that a time stamp is shown (in the window) if 15 or more seconds have passed since the last log line.

Re: Log DIfferences?

Ah-ha! I had not restarted; that was causing the lack of a timestamp. (In other words, no times were displayed, even after that delay. I took a screen pict if you're curious; but the issue is now fixed.)

The errors disappeared too.

Thank you!
