Touch Connection Issue With LTE

Hey,

I thought I'd give a Verizon LTE Jetpack a try for much faster internet but can't seem to get Touch to
connect to it. My Mac Indigo server is online fine using the 4G Jetpack and I can remotely login to it
using Logmein but the Touch app won't find my server.

I have the wifi from the Jetpack being received by a DLink 1522 access point, in bridge mode, to give me some ethernet ports, which the Indigo server is hardwired to.

Again the Indigo server is online with this setup and accessible from other apps just fine.
Just no Touchy.

Maybe a port issue?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Carl

Re: Touch Connection Issue With LTE

I'm not familiar with the topology of how the Jetpack works. So it creates a WiFi network (which goes upstream to mobile) and your Mac and iPhone are both on that network? That should work. How does it fail exactly? And what if in Safari you type the IP address (and port) of the Indigo Web server? Does that work?

Re: Touch Connection Issue With LTE

Thanks Matt. I did get it working by using a different encryption method.
No idea why it worked though. I was trying to set it up without any
and had no success. Seems to be a certain amount of voodoo involved
in all things Internet.
