A note about the Feit app and Shortcuts and Indigo

Much to my chagrin, the Feit app for controlling those cheap lights is ONLY capable of working with Shortcuts on iOS. It does NOT work on Mac. That is, the Feit app can run on an M1 or better Mac, but it does not integrate with Shortcuts.

So there's no straightforward way to have Indigo control Feit lights short of some workaround using Pushcut or getting into the Tuya app and MQTT.

I've expressed my disappointment about this to Feit, but I'm not holding my breath.

SmartThings refugee, so happy to be on Indigo. Monterey on a base M1 Mini w/Harmony Hub, Hue, DomoPad, Dynamic URL, Device Extensions, HomeKitLink, Grafana, Plex, uniFAP, Fantastic Weather, Nanoleaf, LED Simple Effects, Bond Home, Camect.

Thanks for sharing. This is a really important point.

I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.
